Youth Ministry Lutheran Youth Fellowship (LYF) is an opportunity for the youth of St. Trinity to serve their Lord, share in the fellowship of believers, develop servant hearts and attitudes, study the Word, bring the message of God's saving grace to people in our community and have fun!! LYF is FFF (Faith, Fellowship, Fun). It is the servant heart of our youth that inspires the leaders, not the other way around, and because of that servant heart, our mission is very simple one. Serve others because Christ set that example for us. LYF youth eagerly take every opportunity to serve, whether within our congregation itself or in the community. Our Youth Ministry is committed to creating a "place" in the lives of our young people (grades 6 - 12) where they can find a safe, secure, and nurturing environment to experience the love of Christ. We know this can be a challenging time in the lives of our youth, so we create opportunities based on fun, fostering friendships, expressing oneself, and allowing our youth to grow in faith and service. We believe that we grow in our faith and develop deeper friendships with others by working together to serve our community. Ways in which our Youth serve:
We plan social events each month that foster friendships and create unity between our youth, adult leaders and parents. These popular events draw participation from our youth and the friends they invite. Our fellowship includes:
Youth activities begin with the 6th and 7th graders and continue all the way through high school. Youth are encouraged to bring friends along to join in the fellowship and fun. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10 Want to know about upcoming activities?
