Worship Objective

“Worship” at St. Trinity is intended to meet two objectives:

First, worship is the time each week when the children of God come together to receive both instruction and direction from God’s Word for our life, to confess our sins to God and hear His words of forgiveness and to share in the blessings through the Sacraments of Baptism and Communion.

Second, worship is the time when we respond to God’s love and blessings by offering to Him our praises through songs, hymns and prayers.

Worship Styles

To foster a worship atmosphere that both inspires and grows our faith in the one true God of Scripture, we offer the following WORSHIP STYLES each week:

Blended Worship

While there is a familiar feel to the structure of this worship service, we enhance this service around the Word of God with contemporary Christian songs that provide the worshipper with a spiritually uplifting experience.

Traditional Service

To preserve and teach the proud heritage found in the historical liturgies and worship of God in our Lutheran Church, the ‘traditional service’ uses the divine liturgies and hymns found in "The Lutheran Service Book".

Praise Service

This service is similar to the Saturday evening ‘blended’ service except that much of the music is led by a ‘Praise Choir’. These men and women help to lead and teach new Christian songs to the congregation so that our worship of God may always grow through the songs we offer in praise to God.

Holy Communion is celebrated on 1st & 3rd Sundays

Fellowship is offered between morning worship services. Join us for coffee, donuts, and bagels in the narthex. This is a time when people at St. Trinity gather to talk and get to know one another. Our Saturday evening service also has a fellowship time immediately following in the lobby/narthex of our church. Pizza is served on Saturday evenings.
