Prayer Ministry

Prayer - The Lord blesses prayer beyond what we can imagine, according to His infinite power and love.

• Do you spend time on a daily basis exchanging information and messages with God through prayer?
• Do you make time every day to cultivate an intimate relationship with Him?

In our busy, hectic, over-scheduled world it's easy to make plans and just keep moving without even consulting our heavenly Father. Prayer is how we get to know God and is vital to the spiritual journey of discovering God's plan for our lives and for our church. The Prayer Ministry provides opportunity for becoming a prayer chain partner, praying for others, praying for the church and letting others pray for you. Prayer is spending time with God, opening and expressing our hearts. We speak and God listens. God speaks through the Spirit and we listen to His revelation.

Prayer is a wonderful gift from our Lord. He asks us to bring to Him our petitions, as the psalmist says:

Cast your burdens on the Lord and He will sustain you.

Psalm 55:22

We take the Word of God seriously and so we offer you the opportunity to submit your prayer requests to be printed on our weekly worship bulletin. Because of the amount of requests and because we want out church family to be able to pray for one another we are publishing a monthly prayer page in the Trinity Topics. Requests that are printed in the weekly worship bulletin will remain there for two weeks and then the requests will be placed on the monthly prayer page the following month of the Topics newsletter. This will allow new prayer requests to be added to our weekly bulletin without a concern for available space.

If you have a special prayer request for someone that you'd like a prayer to be given during worship, please complete the prayer card located in the pew folders and drop it in the offering plate or hand it to an usher during the collection of the offering.
