The Board of Finance

Specifically, the Board is responsible to:

  • Provide training for all counters and head counter
  • Keep dedicated and earmarked funds in a separate account
  • Provide accurate accounting and financial reports
  • Provide two head counters and two helpers for weekly counting
  • Fellowship opportunities for all counters

At that time men were appointed to be in charge of the storerooms for the contribution, first fruits, and tithes. From the fields around town they were to bring into the storerooms the portions required by the Law for the priests and the Levites, for Judah was pleased with the ministering priests and Levites.
